In this unique Chiaroscuro 100% Arabica Blend, Mokaflor combines three exquisite varieties:

Brazil Alta Mogiana franca Gr 2 17/18 Natural Catuai - Caturra
Ethiopia Grade 1 Natural Typica - Heirloom
Honduras Marcala SHB Washed Bourbon - Catuai

and completes it with one of the most valuable varieties - the Jamaica Blue Mountain. A whole 10% refine this exclusive blend.

Amazing how this addition expands the taste spectrum. Wonderful aromas of vanilla, tobacco, nutmeg and dark chocolate and even a hint of papaya spoil the palate. This espresso also offers a fine, sparkling kick on the tongue. The crema is of a dense consistency, finely mackerel and hazelnut-colored. The caffeine content is comparatively low. Bitter substances and acids are reduced to a minimum.

The Chiaroscuro 100% Arabica is perfect for the portafilter or fully automatic machines, but it also unfolds its very individual taste in the V60 or Aeropress.

Of course, Dr. Andrea Bernini roasts all 4 varieties separately and gently according to her own roasting profile and only then mixes everything in a finely tuned ratio to form this wonderful cuvée.
